Model 1590 Hand-Fed Chipper

 The 17” capacity Model 1590 has become our most popular hydraulic-feed drum-style chipper. This rugged chipper features a chipper opening that is 18” x 20.5”, great for breaking down limby and crotched materials. The Model 1590 features a 37” diameter drum which is about 15” larger in diameter than the drums in our competitor’s machines. The 1590 is also great for fibrous machines, like palm waste, because material enters the drum at a right angle with the feed wheels positioned close to the drum. Like all Bandit hand-fed chippers, the 1590 is available both towable or self-propelled.

Model 3090 Whole Tree Chipper

 The Model 3090 is our mid-sized drum chipper that will chip whole trees up to 22 inches in diameter. This unit will make land clearing simple and quick. With a 10-foot long infeed conveyor, multiple trees can be chipped at one time, making this chipper the most convenient whole tree chipper in its class! A Caterpillar 440-horsepower Tier 3 engine provides plenty of chipping power, and allows the Model 3090 to fill a 45-foot chip van in under 20 minutes. This whole tree chipper has the capabilty of loading end-opening chip vans. With its 270º hydraulic swivel discharge, multiple vans can be loaded at the job site.

Model 2400 Whole Tree Chipper

 Operations looking for a high production chipper with a large chipping capacity should take a look at our Model 2400. The Model 2400 is our largest disc-style chipper, and is designed for those land clearing operations whose main goal is production. Like the Model 1900, the 2400 features a five-feed wheel system that gives this unit unmatched crushing and pulling power. This unit features Caterpillar engine options ranging from 630- to 760-horsepower. The 2400 is equipped with a 220° hydraulic swivel discharge spout, allowing the operator to aim chips in almost any direction. It also enables several vans to be parked at the chipper at any one time. The roomy operator's cab allows the operator to control all machine functions from the unit, and features joystick controls. A powerful backhoe style loader with continuous rotation grapple eases the job of feeding material into the chipper.

Model 280 Hand-Fed Chipper

 This hydraulic feed 18” capacity machine is more than a hand-fed chipper: the feed system is powerful enough to pull in and quickly dispose of whole trees. Like all of Bandit’s hand-fed chippers, the Model 280 is available both towable and self-propelled, and with a range of engine options from top engine manufacturers. An optional loader feature is available, great for feeding heavy materials and piles of brush. This rugged machine is a favorite of those involved in full tree take-downs and light land clearing.
