Coming soon to GovPro.com: the Government Job Zone
According to the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the public sector is one of the few bright spots in an otherwise slumping job market. Later this month, the GovPro.com staff will unveil a new Web site dedicated exclusively to government job openings across the United States.
By Josh Cable

The Government Job Zone will be a comprehensive, one-stop source for job seekers as well as for government agencies with positions that need to be filled. From municipal clerks to environmental scientists to police officers, from air traffic controllers to government consultants, the Government Job Zone will feature the latest job openings at the local, county, state and federal levels as well as the latest job opportunities in public education.

The user-friendly Web site will feature a number of functionalities designed to make it quick and easy to search for jobs and post job openings:

  • Job seekers will be able to post their resumes and sign up for job alerts that are delivered directly to their inboxes as soon as new job opportunities are posted.
  • Government employers will be able to manage their online recruiting efforts with ease by setting up their own employer accounts, which will allow employers to view resumes and post job openings.

Presented by GovPro.com, Government Product News and Government Procurement, the Government Job Zone will be launched later this month. For more updates and details on the Government Job Zone, be sure to visit GovPro.com.
