USB interconnects accommodate accelerated wideband applications
Miniaturized high-speed USB plug-and-socket interconnects accommodate accelerated wideband applications for computer and electronic devices. With data transfer speeds up to 480 Mbps, USB connectors interface with peripherals at three to five times the speed of parallel types and 20 to 40 times faster than serial port connections for: mouse/keyboards, MP3 players, digital cameras, DVD players, cable modems, LANs and audio visual equipment. Designed to withstand greater than 1,500 mating cycles, mini USB socket (catalog No. 934TR) surface mounts and is provided on tape and reel to simply installation by pick-and-place equipment. Gold-plated contacts help ensure low contact resistance and high reliability. A mini plug version (catalog No. 935) is available for creating standard and custom USB cable assemblies.
