OMB memo to federal agencies: Tighten charge card controls By Michael Keating Soon after a Government Accountability Office (GAO) audit concluded that there is widespread misuse of purchasing cards within the federal government, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has directed federal agencies to tighten their fiscal controls. The memo is latest shoe to drop over government credit card abuse.
