Commission Approves Rockies Natural Gas Pipeline
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved the new Rockies Express-West interstate pipeline project intended to transport more than 1.5 million dekatherms (Dth) per day of Rocky Mountain natural gas to supply growing energy demand in markets east of the Rockies.

HUD Approves $429 Million Disaster Recovery Plan in Texas
U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Alphonso Jackson approved a nearly $429 million disaster recovery plan to help homeowners and local communities in Texas to recover from the effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The Texas plan will offer grants of up to $40,000 to qualified homeowners, restore affordable rental housing, and repair critical infrastructure in the state.

Military Guide Steers HazMat Shipping
Len Hammond, HazMat Instructor at the Defense Ammunition Center in Fort Carson, CO, has been conducting HazMat training for the military for 10 years.
