| FL4000 Multi-Spectral IR Flame Detector The General Monitors FL4000 Multi-Spectral IR Flame Detector from Electrasem provides superior false alarm immunity with the widest field of view. The FL4000 employs a multi-spectral optical IR sensing array with Neural Network Technology (NNT) to reliably discriminate between actual flames and the vast majority of false alarm sources (such as arc welding). It detects typical fires such as alcohol, n-heptane, gasoline, jet fuels and hydrocarbons. In addition, it sees through dense smoke from diesel, rubber, plastics and lube oil fires. CSA, FM, ATEX, CE Marking approvals. SIL 3 suitable. Designed with an exceptionally reliable NNT flame discrimination algorithm, the FL4000 detector is highly immune to false alarms while at the same time offering extended range (up to 230 feet) and wide field-of-view (FOV) characteristics (100° at 50 feet). For example, the FL4000 MSIR flame detector provides false alarm immunity to arc welding as close as 5-15 feet. Other features include built-in COPM (Continuous Optical Path Monitoring), a self-testing to check optical path integrity of the detector elements and the related electronic circuitry every two minutes. Serial ports allow up to 128 units (247 using repeaters) to be linked up to a host computer using either HART or MODBUS® communications. --- Electrasem Click HERE for more information. | | NEWS Is federal procurement policy too complex and burdensome for small businesses?
