Officials from Connellsville, Pa.—a city of 9,146 people nestled in the Appalachian Mountains about an hour southeast of Pittsburgh—claim that the city's police department is the first in the nation to have an all-electric police car.

The Department of Homeland Security U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (DHS USICE) has awarded a new prime contract to SI International Inc., an information technology and network solutions provider, that will provide bond control specialists to review bond actions and manage case inquiries associated with alien files.
