GSA initiative aims to direct more federal business to disabled veterans

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) today unveiled a plan to maximize the number and percentage of agency contract dollars going to businesses owned by service-disabled veterans. The agency is calling the initiative the "Twenty-One Gun Salute."

Solar panels powering detention facility could yield big savings for county
